Best Hotels In Downtown Los Angeles !

These are the best downtown Los Angeles hotels and accommodations in Los Angeles downtown to stay at, if you are attending a convention or doing business downtown Los Angeles. It's an insiders review of hotels downtown Los Angeles.

Most of the best Los Angeles hotels are on the Westside, but there are some very fine downtown hotels such as the Biltmore Hotel Los Angeles and ultra chic Standard Hotel downtown Los Angeles that are very nice and quite luxurious.

I have stayed at many downtown Los Angeles hotels while attending conventions for over 20 years, so I am very familiar with all the hotels in downtown Los Angeles. The hotels I have listed here are the very best and the only ones I like to stay at. I highly recommend all of these hotels to you my visitors.

The Biltmore Hotel Los Angeles

506 S. Grand Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90071. Phone: (213)624-1011. Deals from $129. The Biltmore hotel in Los Angeles is a historic landmark. When it opened in 1923 it was said to be Los Angeles grandest and finest hotel. I think that's probably true even today. It's been beautifully restored to its old glory and it's a treat to just enter this hotel.

I have stayed at this hotel more than other downtown Los Angeles hotels, because it's my very favorite downtown Los Angeles hotel. It's located right across from Los Angeles Perching Square and it has one of the best LA locations for business travelers.

There is a wonderful in house restaurant serving fabulous food, and the Grand Avenue Sports Bar is very popular, and a great place to wind down after a full and busy day. The guest rooms are elegant, serene and comfortable. This is my top selection for downtown Los Angeles hotels. Free shuttle bus service to the convention center.

I remember having had one of the most comfortable beds ever. Their mattresses must be top quality for a hotel. I love sleeping on a fabulous mattress and luxurious bedding. Who doesn't!

They have a fantastic roof top restaurant that rotates to give you the best views of Los Angeles possible. The food is great, although some of the steaks were a bit pricey, but very good, of course. I like this hotel, their service and anemities, having stayed here numerous times with no complaints. They have some of the best hotel deals downtown, actually.

535 South Grand Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90071. Phone: (213)624-0000. Deals from $136. The Hilton Checkers Hotel dates back to the 1920's, but it has been beautifully restored and remodeled. Here you will receive first class service in an old world classic elegant ambience only blocks from the Los Angeles convention center.

There is a wonderful rooftop restaurant that's rated with Zagat as one of the finest dining places in Los Angeles California. They serve breakfast, lunch, dinner, Sunday brunch and afternoon tea. This is a great downtown Los Angeles boutique hotel.

If you are looking for a Japanese style hotel room in Los Angeles, or a Ryokan style hotel downtown Los Angeles, The New Otani Hotel and Garden is perfect for you.

It's a wondeful hotel. I love Japanese food and culture, so I stay here for that special Japanese ambience and to satisfy my cravings for Sushi and Japanese cuisine. I also love the beautiful and serene gardens.

There are lots of Japanese restaurant next door in Little Tokyo, however, the elegant in house restaurant , A Thousand Cranes, serves ultra fresh Sushi and fabulous Japanese dishes, including Kaiseiki dinners in Tatami rooms. Very Good!

Figueroa Hotel Los Angeles

Hotel Figueroa Los Angeles

939 S. Figueroa Street, Los Angeles, CA 90015. Phone: (213)627-8971. Deals from $100. This old time hotel from 1925 is also on my favorite list. It's more casual than other downtown Los Angeles hotels, and has an Bohemian Morrocan style to its interiors that is quite charming.

It's also less expensive than other downtown Los Angeles Hotels. Ask for a room away from heavily trafficked streets. The hotel has a wonderful bar adjacent to the pool area that I know you will enjoy.

The Standard Hotel Downtown Los Angeles

The Standard Hotel Rooftop Bar And Lounge

550 S. Flower Street, Los Angeles, California 90071. Phone: (213)892-8080. Deals from $148. The ultra modern cutting edge interior design of the Standard Hotel is popular with musicians and artists. In fact it's a very popular hotel all around.

I love the fabulous modern rooftop bar and lounge area. It's a spectacular place to hang out on a warm summer night. The views takes your breath away. I am not kidding you. You will enjoy this place, I'll guarantee it.

The roof top loung is super hot and popular and very busy. To avoid crowds, go on weeknights and during the day. The hotel is one of my favorites. I love this hotel as well as the Standard Hotel In Hollywood which is equally fabulous.
