Corn-fed prime beef that's been aged on the premises. They serve their delicious charcoal broiled steaks with crisp onion rings, fried potatoes and a good spinach salad. That's it! Good, inexpensive food served over 90 years. My husband and I love their yummi French dip sandwiches with their delicious home made coleslaw, and come here frequently. It's also great on the budget. I love their pot roasts, ham hocks, short ribs and beef stew dishes. Their servings are unbelievably large and are easily shared. The Pantry is one of the downtown Los Angeles restaurants that is open 24 hours a day.
