Hollywood and Highland Center is right in the heart of the Hollywood Tourist Attractions.

The Highland entertainment shopping mall complex is home to the Lucky Strike bowling lanes, the Highland Night Club, the Renaissance Hollywood Hotel, and the famous Kodak Theater for the Academy Awards, and other live broadcasts.

My son and Andrea stayed at the Renaissance Hollywood Hotel recently, on their vacation to Southern California. And enjoyed the exciting Highland center. We had dinner together at the Koji's Sushi restaurant. Very good!

The center is home to a premium, upscale bowling alley with a retro style cocktail lounge.

The Hollywood and Highland Center

There are actually two night clubs at the center. But the most popular is the fantastic Highland Night Club, featuring one of the best panoramic views of Hollywood.

It's a huge 2 level club, with sweeping balconies with stunning views of Los Angeles and the Westside.

Fabulous cuisine, live performances and dancing until 4 AM. Yes! No alcohol served after 2 PM. State Law.

The other night club is called Level 3, located, yes, on the 3rd level of the complex. This club has a touch of the South Beach atmosphere, 3 bars, dance floor and stage.

The Hollywood and Highland Center offers convenient and very cheap parking in the heart of Hollywood.

Park for only $2 for up to 4 hours, and enjoy all the exciting attractions in Hollywood.

Every tuesday evenings between June 2 to August 25, 7-9 PM in the Hollywood and Highland Central Courtyard, there is live, free entertainment.

Schedule subject to change, so check with the Visitors Center for show schedules and artists.

Dine at The Grill, Trastevere or at Koji's Sushi, before the show and your shuttle ride is FREE.

Or you can purchase $3 shuttle passes at the Visitors Center, level 1.

Before catching the shuttle, enjoy one of the Centers restaurants, or pick up something to eat at the Bowl from one of the quick-serve eateries.

Or visit the Wine Bar on level 2 to pick up a wine and cheese basket to take along. Shuttle tickets are $4 and you can buy them from the Shuttle driver.
