Many museums are Free, such as the Science Museum, the Getty Center, and the History Museum of Los Angeles.
Others charge only a nominal fee or ask for a donation. My favorite museums are located in the Exposition Park area of downtown Los Angeles. These museums are free, but there is a parking fee ( very reasonable).
The City of Hollywood also has some outstanding and very fun museums that even your kids will like.
