Santa Barbara WineriesThe Santa Barbara Wine Country is breathtakingly beautiful and scenic, I'm sure you agree. My husband and I love going wine touring in the Southern California wine country. Some of the wineries have excellent restaurants, or you can bring a nice picnic basket. There are plenty of areas to picnic and have a romantic lunch. Just buy a bottle of wine at one of the wineries and you are set. If you love wine tasting and visiting wineries you will love the Santa Barbara County Winery Festival held yearly in the month of April. One of the most popular wineries in Santa Barbara is the Santa Barbara Winery, so that's why I have listed it first. However, all listed are the best of the best and the most outstanding Santa Barbara wineries.

Gainey Winery A beautiful wine tasting room and scenic picnic areas to enjoy, makes this one of the great wineries to visit. For large group picnics, please call for reservation. Foxen Winery The Foxen Winery in Los Olivos Ca specializes in creating very small productions of vineyard wines of the highest quality. No mass producing here. The wonderful quaint country style tasting room is open daily from 11 AM - 4 PM. They also have a lovely scenic picnic area. Call for group reservations. Lafond Winery Santa Barbara County
Lafond Winery The Lafond Estate vineyard was established and planted in 1971. They were pioneers in introducing Pinot Noir and Syrah to the Santa Barbara valley. They do offer Chardonnay as well. Open daily 10 AM - 5 PM> it's located at 6855 Santa Rosa Road, Buellton, California.
